Some help from Flood Creative

these pieces by my friend Katie Decker from flood creative have always blown me away. well lucky for me i have enlisted her help with invitations. i am not telling what amazing ideas we came up with until you get one in the mail, but lets just say you might need to run out and buy a frame to hang it on your wall!

classic invitations

I found these beautiful and classic invitations on etsy while hunting for some stationary. How i wish they were within by budget or that i lived in Belgium where they are produced. Even the menu cards are so very lovely.

MANIC MONDAYS

aside from loving this photo and her gorgeous gown, i have been running a lot lately and not in the athletic way. it seems when you only have 5 months to go on all your planning suddenly you realize holy Jesus i need to make invitations and get them out!!

where i really want to be right now is somewhere that i can appreciate the pinks and purples in the sky
I've also been obsessing over bows in my hair and am trying my hand at making some headbands with huge bows on them for the bridal luncheon and to cure my obsession of always over flowing my plate
i heart chocolate banana bread as well, and am going to make Jessica oatmeal apple cookie to bring to the hospital later
the back side of things can also be very lovely
this photo makes me laugh
i also need to make labels for the apple butter my mother has made for guests
and have been doing all this while listening to beach house non stop
and lastly, i received a pair of free 3rd ward sunnies for May bike month and people were poking out the lenses. it was funny for five minutes until every single person decided it was the look and then i felt bad for all the lost and broken lenses that went to waste because of hipsters.

something new with I DO

I really think this is super duper awesome. I've been looking at invitations and can't really find any I like and have come to the conclusion that I am going to try and make my own some how. If you know me then this is comical. Why because I procrastinate on so many things, but this I can't. This is so simple it might just work!

Invitations

i like the idea of having your face on the invite but blurry.. it seems kinda funny and awesome!

i am really loving this grey and yellow combination of colors here..

although purple is my new favorite color, it matches nice with red
what color does not go with purple.
i am convinced everything goes with purple.
